Adoption UK provides training for prospective adopters, adoptive parents, long-term foster carers and a wide range of practitioners. Understanding how looked-after and adopted children can best be helped is central to all the training we offer.
Adoption UK training is available to members and non-members. All conferences, seminars and workshops are delivered by a team of skilled in-house trainers - all of whom are experienced adopters with vast amounts of personal and professional knowledge.

Adoption UK’s acclaimed parenting programme has been improving the lives of adoptive and foster families for nearly ten years. This unique six-day programme for adopters and long-term foster carers provides a fresh approach to parenting hurt children, helping to minimise family distress, placement disruption and breakdown. The programme is designed for parents and carers who have had a child in placement for at least one year
