The Wall: why adopted children need a different kind of parenting
With the majority of children adopted from the care system coming from an abusive or neglectful background, it is unsurprising that many struggle to overcome the consequences of this difficult start to life.
The Wall is a graphic illustration of how unmet physical and emotional needs early in life affect children’s later development, requiring different parenting techniques and support for adoptive parents.

Based on a popular exercise from Adoption UK’s acclaimed training programme “It’s a Piece of Cake”, The Wall was created by design house WeSaySo and is the first time that Adoption UK has used animation in this way.
